Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred)
- Valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with a preference for pediatric outpatient experience
- Proficiency in computer software, electronic health records, and web-based applications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and adaptability to changing patient needs
- Interpersonal skills that foster a caring and respectful environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in pediatric therapy or specialized treatment areas
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual communication skills
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required; an advanced degree or specialization is a plus
- At least 2 years of relevant outpatient pediatric experience highly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Current physical therapy license in the state of practice
- Willingness to work in a patient-care setting that involves exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and potentially infectious materials
- Ability to adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations
- Reliable and flexible availability to accommodate patient scheduling needs
