Position Overview:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation) to evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients through evidence-based physical therapy interventions. The ideal candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, restore functional mobility, prevent disability, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients, establish measurable treatment goals, develop individualized care plans, and perform periodic re-evaluations based on patient progress.
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional training, and other evidence-based treatment modalities to improve mobility and function.
Document patient evaluations, treatments, progress, family education, and discharge planning accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals while providing guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, infection control standards, and participate in continuing education and professional development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Physical Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans for adult and pediatric patients.
Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Ability to supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation aides, and clinical students.
Specialist Certification preferred for candidates applying as a Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist.
