Traveler Pay: $61/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation) to evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients through evidence-based physical therapy interventions. The ideal candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, restore functional mobility, prevent disability, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients, establish measurable treatment goals, develop individualized care plans, and perform periodic re-evaluations based on patient progress.

  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional training, and other evidence-based treatment modalities to improve mobility and function.

  • Document patient evaluations, treatments, progress, family education, and discharge planning accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals while providing guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.

  • Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, infection control standards, and participate in continuing education and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

  • Current Physical Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans for adult and pediatric patients.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

  • Ability to supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation aides, and clinical students.

  • Specialist Certification preferred for candidates applying as a Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist.
