Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist (PT) to join an outpatient clinic setting. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. The position offers the opportunity to work with patients of various ages and ability levels while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Treat approximately 8–12 patients per day in an outpatient setting
Implement therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies
Assist with discharge planning and transition of care recommendations
Maintain accurate patient documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries using WebPT
Collaborate with healthcare team members to support quality patient care
Stay current with physical therapy techniques, clinical guidelines, and healthcare regulations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support development of clinical protocols
Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts required
New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are welcome to apply
Previous outpatient, inpatient, or home health experience preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions
Experience with orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, and post-operative patient care preferred
Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
