Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Georgia state license required
• BLS required
• First-time travelers not accepted

Assignment Details

• Monday - Friday
• Normal business hours
• 40 hours per week
• Shift times may be scheduled as 5x8s or 4x10s, with the clinic determining one consistent day off during the assignment
• No weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Location Highlights

Cedartown offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel throughout northwest Georgia. The city is about 20 miles from the Silver Comet Trail, a well-known paved trail for biking and running, and about 35 miles from Rome, which offers dining, shopping, and riverfront areas along the Etowah and Oostanaula Rivers. Cedartown is about 40 miles from Talladega National Forest in Alabama and roughly 70 miles from downtown Atlanta, giving travelers access to hiking, weekend road trips, and a major metro area. The area also includes Polk County historical sites and a quieter small-town setting with access to larger city amenities within driving distance.
