Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provides clinical patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment, progressing patient treatment as appropriate, and carrying a patient load that reflects productivity standards.
Evaluates patients accurately, plans appropriate treatment, sets and meets functional goals, and revises and progresses treatment programs as goals are met.
Maintains appropriate treatment records and completes accurate daily patient charges.
Ensures patient records are completed in a timely manner, accurately reflecting time spent and procedures performed.
Maintains technical expertise through participation in continuing education activities and departmental in-services.
Provides instruction to patients and/or family members, as well as other healthcare providers, following care path guidelines for patient/family education and documentation of home programs.
Schedules and prioritizes daily work assignments and delegates patients to support personnel as appropriate.
Assists with training of new employees and supports observers, volunteers, and students as requested.

Responsible for carrying out non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, following general instructions from supervisors.
Working Relationships
Coordinates activities of others but does not supervise.
Leads others in the same work performed but does not supervise.
Provides input on performance evaluations but does not prepare or give them.
Works directly with patients and/or customers, both internally and externally, through telephone or face-to-face interactions.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and staff.
Education
Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
Valid state licensure or temporary authorization to practice Physical Therapy.

0 - 6 months of related experience.
