As a Physical Therapist Aide/ Technician, your primary duties typically include:

As a Physical Therapist Aide, you are the engine of our clinic. You will work one-on-one with patients, executing care programs designed by our PTs and ensuring every patient feels supported on their road to recovery.

This position is an incredible opportunity for those seeking enhanced education and hands-on application in the world of sports medicine and rehabilitation.

- Supporting Therapy Sessions: Responsible for setting up equipment/modalities and prepare treatment areas for patients. Work hand-in-hand with Physical Therapists to ensure a seamless, coordinated recovery process.

- Exercise with Patients: Lead patients through prescribed exercise programs and provide modalities with a focus on safety, education, and proper form.

- Documentation: Maintain high-quality, accurate records of patient progress and observations: such as patient response to treatment, progress in exercises, and any concerns or observations noted during sessions.

- Maintaining Supplies: Keep therapy areas clean and organized, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring adequate supplies are available.

- Communication with Patients: You may provide instructions to patients regarding their home exercises or follow-up appointments. Clear communication and patient education are crucial for successful therapy outcomes.

- Internal Collaboration: Working closely and efficiently with physical therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated care for patients.


Requirements:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

- Knowledge: Basic Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

- Adaptability: Able to work with a variety of patients and medical professionals.

- Language: Fluent English

- Availability: Some weekdays and Saturdays 8am-1pm

- Ability to Duplicate: Manage and duplicate recurring treatment orders from PTs to ensure consistency in care and maximize clinic efficiency.
