We are seeking a reliable, friendly and motivated physical therapy aid to assist the physical therapist and clinical staff with daily patient care and clinical operations. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positivity attitude, and an interest in rehabilitation and patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists with patient preparation and treatment activities.
Set up and clean treatment areas and therapy equipment.
Assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist.
Help patients safely transition between treatment areas and equipment.
Provide assistance with therapeutic exercise equipment as instructed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
Clean and disinfect equipment and treatment areas between patients.
Assist with patient flow and scheduling as needed.
Help with basic front-desk or administrative tasks when needed.
Monitor patient safety and report any concerns to the physical therapist.
Follow clinic policies, infection-control procedures, and safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapist or clinic management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, or customer-service experience is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with patients of different ages and abilities.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with routine clinic activities.
