Come join our caring team of clinical experts! **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team in Portland. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting licensed physical therapists while ensuring exceptional patient care and maintaining an efficient therapy environment. + Assist physical therapists during treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises + Safely transport and transfer patients to and from treatment areas + Prepare, sanitize, and maintain treatment areas and equipment + Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records + Monitor and maintain therapy supply inventory + Perform administrative tasks including answering phones and managing documentation + Support therapists in patient education and exercise demonstration + Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures + Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations + Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care delivery **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent required + Current CPR and First Aid certifications + Proficiency in patient transfer techniques and safety protocols + Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology + Experience with electronic health records systems preferred + Strong organizational and time management skills + Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities + Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment + Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment + Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required + Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements + Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team + Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care **Additional Information** **Salary information: $17.00 an hour** + 401k with matching + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Flexible schedule + Clinical mentorship + Employee discount plans + Full suite of benefits We are proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
