Physical Therapy Aide

Pride Health is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide/ Clinical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Lake Success NY.

Schedule: Flexibility with shifts.(22-24hr/week)
Location:  Lake Success NY 11042
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 1 year
Pay Range: $19.00 to $22.00/hr on W2 
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Assist Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants with daily patient care and treatment activities.
• Prepare, clean, sanitize, and organize treatment areas and equipment.
• Set up and store therapeutic equipment as directed by therapists.
• Escort and assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as directed.
• Retrieve, organize, and restock treatment supplies, linens, and towels.
• Maintain equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Support efficient patient flow and keep treatment areas ready for treatment.
• Follow safety, infection-control, HIPAA, and clinic policies while providing professional patient service.

Requirements: 

• Education: Highschool/GED or equivalent
• Years of experience: 6 months in a Customer Service & healthcare industry.
