Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, provides skilled physical therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patients special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individuals functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program. May require specialized physical therapist assistant training to meet a particular department need.
  • Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position upon hire

Compensation:

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidates placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
