Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Coldwater, MI Shift: Days Job Summary: Administers various physical therapy programs under guidelines established by a Licensed Physical Therapist to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients, to maximize function and independence. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance; facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptations and productivity. Qualifications: Education: Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution Skills: Must possess skills consistent with the needs of the department. Years of Experience: N/A License: Current PTA License in State of practice Certification: CPR according to hospital policy Physical Requirements: The majority of time is spent standing, bending, and providing patient care treatments. Must possess the physical ability and condition to handle patients correctly and safely. Be able to handle standard equipment in a physical therapy department.
