We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to provide direct physical therapy services according to the Physician's plan of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, restore function, and maximize patient performance.
Assist patients with active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage in treatments.
Observe and report patient reactions to treatment and any changes in their condition to the Physical Therapist and the organization’s personnel.
Instruct patients in the use and care of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.
Complete online charting in Kinnser immediately after each visit using a provided device.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Current (PTA) Physical Therapy Assistant License to practice in California
Current CA Driver's License (with clean driving record) and Valid Automobile Insurance
You are able to travel within a 15 to 25-mile radius on a regular basis
Priority to candidates with Availability Saturday-Monday or Wednesday-Sunday
