Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a PTA with Symbria, you'll be a key part of transforming everyday moments into meaningful progress. In this role, you will:
Partner closely with the Physical Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans
Deliver purposeful, engaging interventions that support mobility, strength, and daily function
Build supportive, trusting relationships with residents and their families
Document treatments accurately and efficiently
Maintain productivity expectations with integrity and compassion
Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team that values your input and clinical skill
Every session you lead helps an older adult regain confidence and independence.
Qualifications
What You Bring
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Active or pending Illinois PTA license
A heart for serving older adults
Experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehab is helpful-but not required
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
