Physical Therapy Assistant (Per-Diem)

Qualifications:

• Florida license • BLS certification • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred • Ability to help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups • Ability to read instructions from Physical Therapist • Ability to work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients • Ability to keep physical therapy clean and organized • Ability to move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area • Ability to complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork • Physical strength and stamina • Ability to lift patients and help them move • Ability to read and execute detailed instructions • Good interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Compassion and empathy • Good attention to detail • Solid knowledge of anatomy • Knowledge of PT stretches and exercises
