Job Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant supports physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients (SMSC Community members and their families, SMSC employees and their families, and Native Americans living in Scott County) recovering from injuries, surgeries, and physical conditions. This role involves implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The PTA helps educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring continuity of care.
