Job Summary and Qualifications Role Summary: Uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis, supervises and coordinates therapeutic care, and communicates evaluation results to patients, families and appropriate staff. Teaches and mentors other staff and participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvements. May provide services off-site within the scope of the job description as needed by the department. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence What qualifications you will need: Required Education: Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Preferred Education: None Required License: Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy. BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment.
