We are hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract position in a skilled nursing facility located in Waycross, GA. This full-time role offers a supportive, patient-centered environment where you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications: Active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Georgia. Current hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a care team.
