We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Cypress Ridge Care Center in Monterey, California. The ideal candidate will have an active California PTA license and a passion for helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.
ResponsibilitiesAssist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions as directed by the physical therapist.
Help patients improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising physical therapist.
Maintain accurate patient treatment records and documentation.
Follow facility policies, safety protocols, and applicable professional standards.
Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred.
Knowledge of NetHealth (Rehab Optima) preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
