Job Responsibilities

  • Provide patient treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Complete accurate daily documentation and required progress reports.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas.

  • Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as appropriate.

  • Carry out physician-directed treatment plans and communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Report equipment concerns to ensure safe and effective operation.

  • Educate residents, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training prior to discharge.

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
