Position Overview<\/span>

A growing primary care organization is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its clinical team. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span>

• Carry out treatment plans and therapeutic interventions developed by the supervising Physical Therapist and care team<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Guide and educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises, mobility techniques, and functional training<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Deliver care with empathy, professionalism, and respect for each patient’s unique needs<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Identify opportunities to adjust treatment approaches to support patient progress, comfort, and safety<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Utilize evidence -based practices to improve function, relieve pain, and help prevent future injuries<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of patient care and progress<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Collect and record patient information, functional measurements, and treatment outcomes<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment while following all legal and ethical standards<\/span>

• Stay current on continuing education and professional development requirements<\/span>

  Qualifications<\/span>
  <\/h2>

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Active state PTA license or certification required<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Prior experience in an outpatient, rehabilitation, or primary care setting preferred<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and physical therapy modalities<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records and healthcare documentation systems<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to assist and lift patients as needed (up to 40+ lbs)<\/span>
