Now Hiring: Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

The Legacy at Midtown Park has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in our skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting in Dallas, TX.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our in-house therapy team and provide person-centered care that supports meaningful, positive outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore function

  • Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

  • Implement and modify treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and PT direction

  • Monitor patient response and document progress in strength, mobility, and function

  • Communicate patient progress and respond to referrals or requests for service

  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards

  • Attend meetings as directed by the Director of Rehab


Qualifications:

  • SNF/long-term care experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices

  • Experience with Net Health electronic documentation system is a plus

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of patient populations

  • Active and valid Texas PTA license in good standing
