    Job Description

    Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Active New York State PTA license required to start the assignment.
    • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
    • Experience in outpatient orthopedics treating conditions such as back, neck, shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow disorders.
    • Ability to manage an independent PTA caseload in a 1:1 treatment model.
    • Comfort working with an adult patient population primarily in their 40s–70s and occasional youth athletes seen after school hours.
    • Experience using EMR systems; familiarity with Prompt EMR preferred.
    • Experience or willingness to use AI-assisted documentation tools that generate notes from dictated input preferred.
    • Ability to meet caseload goals (clinic goal ~14 patients/day; current average ~13 patients/day) and work within a two-patients-per-hour treatment model.
    • Ability to collaborate with PTs, techs, and team members in a team-based outpatient setting.


    Assignment Details

    • Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
    • Shift name: Days.
    • Schedule: Monday–Friday with flexible hours; clinics open on weekends.
    • Weekend rotation: Approximately one Saturday per month (about 4 hours); weekend availability preferred but not required.
    • Guaranteed hours: 36–40 hours per week.
    • Floating: May be required to float to other locations based on coverage needs.
