Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active New Jersey PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or subacute environment preferred.
• Familiarity with treatment of subacute and long-term care patient populations, including Medicare A/HMO and LTC Med B casemix preferred.
• Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records and communicate with interdisciplinary teams preferred.

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0830-1630.
• Schedule: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week).
• Start: ASAP.
• Float Requirement: May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks.
