Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant working in home health in Wilmington, MA. You will assist patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them improve mobility, function, and quality of life under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Travel clinicians are expected to follow agency policies and document care thoroughly in the electronic health record.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active MA PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required.
• Home health experience required.
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) electronic documentation preferred.
• Ability to travel within designated coverage areas listed by the agency and provide care in patient homes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience working in home health with varied caseloads.
• Familiarity with home safety assessment and mobility equipment recommendations.

Assignment Details

• Weekly hour guarantee: 30 hours.
• On-call/weekend requirement: No.
• Coverage areas include Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, Salem, Marblehead, Lynnfield, Lynn, and Swampscott.
• Travel mileage reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient.
