Required Skills:
- Valid and current Physical Therapy license in the state
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations and acute care patients
- Strong understanding of a wide range of diagnoses and treatment modalities
- Excellent patient assessment and individualized treatment planning skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospice and swing bed programs
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications such as CPR, TBI, or specialized therapy certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Pediatric-specific therapy experience is a must
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
- Ability to travel between outpatient clinics and inpatient units as needed
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all healthcare regulations
- Must have pediatric therapy experience; this role is not suitable for new graduates
