Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time or PRN position. The schedule includes options for Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

About Our Facilities

Our organization operates Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that offer:

  • Long-term care for residents needing ongoing skilled support and compassionate daily assistance
  • Short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury
  • Collaborative care through an interdisciplinary team approach, integrating nursing, therapy, and medical staff

As a therapy professional, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve functional improvements and enhance their quality of life in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients referred by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
  • Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain proficiency in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.
  • Adhere to company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance.
  • Follow physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT.
  • Utilize therapy software accurately and effectively.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Knowledgeable about practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
