Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Technician to join our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic. In this role, you will support the physical therapists and ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans
- Administer hot and cold packs and monitor therapeutic exercises
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe clinic environment
- Coordinate care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge
- Perform data entry, maintain patient charts, and update electronic medical records
- Answer phones and manage electronic scheduling
- Handle administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a medical or physical therapy setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and assist therapists with patient care
- Proficiency in Word and Excel; experience with medical software preferred
- Flexibility with work hours and availability
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Team player attitude with an energetic focus on providing the best care
