We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Allergist & Immunologist to join our Allergy & Asthma team within the Department of Medicine at Hennepin Healthcare. In this role, you will be supporting our downtown Minneapolis and Richfield locations, working with both pediatric and adult populations in the outpatient setting. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Managing:
Pediatric and adult patients with a variety of allergic and immunologic disease
Allergy immunotherapy regimens- both subcutaneous and sublingual
Performing:
Routine allergy testing for foods, medications, venoms, environmental allergens
Evaluation and treatment for patients with immunodeficiencies and replacement therapy
Spirometry and treating severe asthma, atopic dermatitis and chronic urticaria with biological therapy
Oral challenges for foods and medications
Patch testing for contact dermatitis
Educating patients about diagnoses, prognoses, and treatments
Building a physician-to-physician referral network as part of marketing efforts

Minimum Qualifications
Current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota (or be eligible for licensure)
Completion of an ACGME, AOA or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited training in Residency training program in Internal Medicine and in Allergy and Immunology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy and Immunology by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology or in Allergy/Immunology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent certification by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
If Board Eligible, must be Board Certified within 4 years from the date of completion of the applicable residency, fellowship or training program
