Provide daytime OR and endoscopy coverage with scheduled night call and 24-hour call shifts
CRNA and nursing support available; locums anesthesiologist will always have CRNA support
See approximately 4 8 patients per day across all age groups including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Department performs approximately 3,000 OR cases and 3,000 endoscopy cases annually, along with approximately 500 OB deliveries per year
Common cases include geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery (excluding bariatrics), advanced breast cancer surgery, total joint procedures, and all endoscopy procedures under propofol infusion
Special procedures include OB anesthesia and endoscopy under propofol infusion
Must have the energy and ability to cover OB, OR, and endoscopy during nights and weekends
EMR system: Cerner
87-bed hospital setting
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology required
Arizona license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
DEA required; BLS and ACLS certifications required
Current OB anesthesia experience is required
