Job Details:

• Two full-time Locum Anesthesiologist positions available for FMLA coverage
• 
  
• Hospital-based operating room setting
• 
  
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 
  
• No on-call requirements
• 
  
• Average of 50-60 surgical cases per day
• 
  
• Mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
• 
  
• Anesthesia cart preparation is not required
• 
  
• Patient age demographic ranges from neonatal to adult
• 
  
• Provide pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties with the exception of cardiac surgery and transplant surgery
• 
  
• Required procedures include general surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, and adult), thoracic cases (except open heart), complex orthopedic cases, neurosurgical cases, and ventilation management
• 
  
• Preferred procedures include insertion of arterial lines and evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
• 
  
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
• 
  
• Completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
• 
  
• Active Ohio license required
• 
  
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 
  
• Clean background with no malpractice history preferred
