Overview
QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) Company, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to deliver exceptional patient care services at Mike O'Callahan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This role is essential to supporting the military healthcare mission by providing timely, high-quality, and patient-focused radiological care in a dynamic clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, sound medical judgment, and the ability to effectively manage emergent and complex cases. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are also critical to success in this position.
A post-call day off will be given after a call shift, unless pre-determined not to be taken otherwise. Contract personnel shall be available for 0-2 call shifts per month (only if necessary) or set number of shifts if predetermined to substitute/add call shift hours for regular duty hours
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
Education: Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience beyond residency training. Experience levels under 2 years will be evaluated by the Chief of Anesthesia on a case-by-case basis.
Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Life Supports (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
BLS/ACLS/PALS must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross approved training program. Members must present proof of current certification(s) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Computer-based training does not constitute fulfilling the training requirements.
Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required in the Task Order.
Licensure: Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Medical License to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
