Job Summary
We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team of 2 MD's in a busy Urology practice.   As a Physician Assistant you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making diagnoses.  You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing medication. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience with EMR charting, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. This is a full or part time position.

Responsibilities 
  • Perform patient examinations and maintain accurate and current patient records
  • Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
  • Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes
  • Prescribe and refill medications
  • Work closely with Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
Qualifications
  • Valid state licensing required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with medical terminology, EMR, charting, and diagnostic tests
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
