Physician Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Physician Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Arlington, TX 76017.

Job Details:

Schedule: 8 am-5 pm

Location: Arlington, TX 76017

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 9 weeks contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)

Pay Range: $52 to $57/hour*

• Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients in a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine setting.
• Conduct patient evaluations, including obtaining medical histories, reviewing symptoms, performing physical examinations, and assessing overall health status.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, develop appropriate treatment plans, and monitor patient progress through follow-up visits.
• Order and review appropriate laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other clinical evaluations as needed to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Prescribe and manage medications, provide patient education, and discuss treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Document patient encounters, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals to specialists or other healthcare services when required.
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining effective communication and collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
• License(s): Physician Assistant License
• Years of experience: 2+ years
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, outpatient/ambulatory care, patient evaluation and management, acute and chronic condition management; geriatric population experience preferred
