RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care. Perform comprehensive pre- and post-operative evaluations, provide patient education, and manage acute post-operative care.
Risk Assessment. Evaluate patients for hereditary breast cancer risk, review genetic histories, and determine the need for additional genetic evaluation or testing.
Patient Education. Counsel patients on breast cancer risk reduction strategies and coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists and support services as needed.
Procedures. Perform in-office procedures. Opportunities to participate in surgical care may be available based on departmental needs.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
