Physician Assistant - Cardiology, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical settings. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans, perform examinations, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures critical to cardiac patient management.
Required Skills:
- Valid and current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Clinical experience in cardiology or inpatient care settings
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of EKG interpretation and cardiac diagnostics preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in a hospital or cardiology-specific setting
- Familiarity with cardiac procedures and medications
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- At least 1-3 years of clinical experience in cardiology or inpatient care
- Proven ability to handle high-acuity cases with professionalism and expertise
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts in tandem with another APC provider, primarily 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Ability to commit to ongoing coverage through 2026, with shifts scheduled in advance
- Compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including scheduled shifts during holiday periods and potential OT after 40 hours per week
- Valid DEA license if applicable
