Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient rounding and surgical consults in a high-volume cardiothoracic surgery program
• Cover emergency room calls as needed
• Conduct outpatient clinic 1 day per week (management of 15-20 post-op patients)
• Support procedures including CABG, thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypass, and valve replacements
• Collaborate closely with a team of 2 surgeons and 3 APPs to deliver exceptional patient care
• Assist in surgical planning and patient follow-up

What You Need

• Active PA or NP license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Surgical or cardiothoracic experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical skills, ability to handle inpatient and emergency cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
