What You'll Do
- Assist in the OR with cardiac or thoracic procedures, including vein harvesting and endoscope assistance
- Perform rounding and clinic visits in a hospital setting
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, X-rays, labs, ECMO, IABP, and Impella devices
- Provide ICU or step-down patient management
- Support the surgical team during procedures and on-call rotations (call split 50/50)
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
What You Need
Required:- Physician Assistant license in California
- Active CA license and CA DEA license
- Experience with vein harvesting, EKG interpretation, ICU patient care
- Ability to manage OR assists and complex patient cases
Preferred:- 3-5 years of clinical experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery settings
