What You’ll Do

• Conduct morning rounds, monitor patient progress, and update daily notes
• Assist in all cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including robotic lobectomy, CABG, valve surgeries, and more
• Manage postoperative care, chest tubes, and patient discharges
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during rounds and procedures
• Support in ICU and OR settings; no clinic responsibilities involved
• Respond to emergency calls and provide on-call coverage on a rotational basis
• Assist with endoscopic vein and radial harvesting, conduit preparation, and postoperative care

What You Need

• Current Physician Assistant licensure in Washington
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or related field
• Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic procedures, ICU protocols, and patient management
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond effectively to emergent situations
