What You’ll Do:
Perform rounding in ICU, pre and post-cardiac surgery units
Manage patients emerging from OR with open hearts, VATS, and lung cases
Care for patients coming off ventilators
Assist with vein harvesting procedures (preferred)
Support critical care teams during high-acuity shifts
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need:
Valid Texas Physician Assistant license or eligible for licensure
Prior ICU and cardiac surgery experience preferred
Excellent patient management and communication skills
Ability to work 7 am to 7 pm shifts on short notice
Strong team player with adaptability in fast-paced environments
