\nWe are seeking a motivated, patient-centered Physician Assistant to join our otolaryngology practice in Hood River, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced physicians in a collaborative outpatient setting serving patients with a broad range of ENT and allergy concerns.

\nPosition Overview
\nThe Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult and pediatric ENT and allergy patients. The role includes independent evaluation and management of appropriate patients, collaboration with the supervising physician, patient education, clinical documentation, and support of in-office procedures and allergy services.
\nPrimary Responsibilities
\n- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common ENT conditions involving the ears, nose, throat, sinuses, and upper airway.
\n- Manage allergy-related conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinus symptoms, and follow-up for allergy testing and immunotherapy.
\n- Perform focused head and neck examinations and assist with office-based ENT procedures as appropriate to training and scope of practice.
\n- Obtain histories, perform physical examinations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order or interpret appropriate diagnostic studies.
\n- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for ENT and facial plastic surgery patients.
\n- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, allergy avoidance, and follow-up care.
\n- Collaborate closely with the physician, clinical team, and referring providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
\n- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
\n- Participate in practice development and workflow improvement as the ENT and allergy service grows.
\nQualifications
\n- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
\n- Current or eligible Oregon Physician Assistant license.
\n- DEA required.
\n- NCCPA certification required.
\n- Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by practice policy.
\n- ENT, allergy or related outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply, opportunity exists for mentorship to train the right applicant to acquire the clinical expertise required.
\n- Excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.
\n- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, collaborative specialty practice.
