The Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is an independent health care provider, who, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health care team, is responsible for patient evaluation and care through the performance of pertinent history and physical examination, assessment of need and delivery of appropriate treatment.
- Graduate of an accredited program leading to certification as a Physician's
Assistant/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner .
- Certification as a PA or APRN by the Florida Board of Medicine and Licensure required.
- Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute chronic patient problems
