Physician Assistant, Marshall Medical Centers North, ER, Full time, 2nd Shift

Overview:

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.   Provides professional care to patients presenting with a broad variety of medical or surgical complaints which range from non-urgent to emergent in nature within the scope of a physician’s assistant.

Qualifications:

Education / Licensure / Certification:   ·          Must have a current license in the State of Alabama, current ACLS & PALS provider. ·          Graduate of an approved program for Physician’s Assistant. ·          Possesses skills needed for functioning effectively as an emergency department physician’s assistant. ·          Maintain collaboration requirements per hospital bylaws and Alabama Board of Nursing.
