Job Title: Physician Assistant
Location: San Antonio, TX (On-Site)
Duration: 6 Months Contract

" May require every other weekend
" Possible holiday rotations
" Occasional float/travel may be required
The Physician Assistant will collaborate with a clinical care team to deliver evidence-based primary and family care to a panel of patients. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and care planning. This role reports to the Practice Manager.
" Provide comprehensive primary and family care services
" Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
" Manage acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based practices
" Conduct routine exams and diagnostic testing
" Educate patients on lifestyle, preventive care, and wellness
" Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
" Support patient engagement in long-term health management
" Perform administrative duties (clinic operations, patient follow-ups, insurance verification, inventory, etc.)
" Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
" Master s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent)
" National Board Certification (NCCPA)
" Active State PA License (in good standing)
" Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience (family medicine preferred)
" Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and quality metrics
" Ability to work independently and within a team-based care model
" Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
" Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
" Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
" Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC required upon offer)
" DEA registration required during onboarding (unless already active)
" Must meet safety-sensitive role requirements
" Experience in primary care or family practice settings
" Familiarity with population health management
" Adaptability in fast-paced clinical environments
