We are a growing, fast-paced private neurosurgery practice seeking 1 full-time and 1–2 part-time Advanced Practice Providers (PA or NP) to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a highly respected neurosurgeon in a dynamic environment with exposure to clinic, surgery, and hospital-based care.
Position Overview:
APPs will function as direct patient care providers under physician supervision, participating in all aspects of neurosurgical care.
Full-Time Role:
Mix of clinic, surgical assisting, and hospital rounding.
Active role in patient management from evaluation through post-op care.
Part-Time Role (Flexible):
Primary focus on surgical assisting and hospital rounding.
Optional clinic days (1–2 days/week) depending on preference.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive histories & physicals.
Evaluate new and follow-up neurosurgical patients.
Assist in surgery (spine, cranial, and peripheral nerve cases).
Round on hospital patients, including ICU when needed.
Order/interprete imaging (MRI, CT, etc.) and labs.
Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with physician.
Provide patient and family education.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:
PA or NP degree from an accredited program.
Active Florida license in good standing.
DEA license required.
BLS required (ACLS preferred).
Spanish-speaking is a strong plus.
Prior neurosurgery, spine, ortho, or pain experience preferred (not required for the right candidate).
