Role Description

\n

This is a Part-time with option of full-time in the future, on-site role for a Physician Assistant/NP at our facility in San Antonio, TX. The Physician Assistant/NP will collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat liver diseases and associated conditions. Daily tasks include conducting patient assessments, treatment, providing follow-up care, educating patients and families, and ensuring accurate medical documentation. The PA/NP will also be involved in supporting clinical research efforts and maintaining compliance with medical protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting medical assessments, clinical examinations, and patient evaluations
• \n
• Ability to perform and assist with diagnostic and therapies related to liver care
• \n
• Strong communication skills for patient education, team collaboration, and documentation
• \n
• Knowledge of medical protocols, compliance standards, and evidence-based practices
• \n
• Active Physician Assistant certification and Texas state licensure
• \n
• Experience in gastroenterology/hepatology is highly desirable
• \n
• Experience or desire to participate in Clinical trials
• \n
