Temples OBGYN department is searching for an Advance Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team. This role falls under the Temple Faculty Practice division.

Setting Outpatient Hours Fulltime M-F 8 hrs. a day 40 hrs. a week | No On Call or Weekends Location Temple Main with a possible rotation to W&F Episcopal Jeanes & Chestnut Hill campus

Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider APP either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant delivers comprehensive medical care and care coordination across clinical specialties in collaboration with licensed physicians and healthcare teams. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams diagnosing and treating illnesses prescribing medical therapeutics ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests developing treatment plans assisting in surgical procedures and counseling patients on preventive care. The APP contributes to a safe therapeutic and inclusive environment that prioritizes patient-centered care respecting each individuals age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture. All care is provided ethically professionally and in accordance with licensure guidelines and scope of practice.

Education Nurse Practitioner · Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Required · Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. Required

Physician Assistant · Bachelors Degree Required · Other Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Required

Licenses and Certifications · CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required or NCCPA - Certified Physician Assistant Required · RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License Required or MPA-LIC - PA Medical Physician Asst Lic Required · BLS - Basic Life Support Required

Experience · 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner Preferred or · 4 years experience as a physician assistant Preferred · 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice Preferred · 1 year outpatientambulatory experience Preferred · Experience in an EPIC environment Preferred
