Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Physician Assistant (PA)/ Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will be responsible for providing excellent care under the supervision fo staff physicians
Every day, within this role, you will provide medical services consistent with your education, training, and experience, as delegated by a supervising physician.
- Collaborateswith supervising physicians and nursing staff todevelop, implement, and modify comprehensive patient care plans, including effective discharge planning. Continuouslyevaluates and adjustscare plans based on observable patient responses and progress towards expected outcomes.
- Actively manages patients' pain levelsin partnership with supervising physicians and nursing staff, including theadministration of appropriate medications. Ensuresthorough and timely pain documentationand re-evaluation as evidenced by chart review.
- Prioritizes and promotes exceptional patient and family satisfactionby actively empowering them to participate in their care.Anticipates and proactively addressespatient and family concerns regarding health and treatment, ensuringprompt resolutionduring the encounter.Facilitates patient involvementin treatment decisions when appropriate.
- Ensures timely and accurate completionof all medical records and required documentation for every patient seen in the urgent care setting.
- Optimizes clinic efficiency, without compromising patient care quality.Drives efficient patient flowwhile consistently upholding the highest possible standards of care for each individual.
- Strictly adheres to all confidentiality and privacy regulations, including HIPAA, maintaining the privacy of patient information, medical records, employee records, and all hospital and administrative data.
- Consistently demonstrates excellent, courteous, and compassionate communicationwith all patients, families, and colleagues in every interaction.
Job Requirements
Required
- Completion of approved Physician Assistant program. and PA Experience in the evaluation andtreatment of acute and chronic medical conditions and injuries common to patients of all ages (e.g. chest pain, abdominal pain, infections, laceration repair,orthopedic injuries). Experience inutilizing and interpreting common labtests, EKGs and X-ray studies., upon hire and
