Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Per Diem

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our team on a Per Diem basis throughout the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Clinical Excellence

• Practice with advanced clinical resources, including:
  • Integrated Epic EMR
  • Point-of-care testing
  • On-site X-ray services
• Collaborate with experienced Medical Assistants and Radiologic Technologists.
• Work in clean, modern, and well-maintained centers focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time Emergency Medicine experience, or
• Minimum of 2 years of Urgent Care experience, or
• 2 years of Family Medicine experience will be considered.

Clinical Skills

• Comfortable performing minor procedures, including:
  • Suturing
  • Casting
  • Splinting
• Ability to provide preliminary interpretations of:
  • EKGs
  • X-rays
• Experience treating patients from newborn through adult populations in an acute care setting.

Education & Certifications

Physician Assistants

• Master's degree required
• Current NCCPA certification required
• State licensure in good standing

Nurse Practitioners

• Master's degree required
• Current ANCC or AANP certification required
• State licensure in good standing
