Physician Assistant Orthopedic Surgery

Swedish Medical Group seeks a full-time Orthopedic Surgery physician assistant to join Swedish Orthopedics in the greater Seattle area. Join a collaborative group of orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice clinicians providing care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a practice within one of the Pacific Northwest's largest and most respected orthopedic programs while supporting continued orthopedic growth across Swedish sites in the Seattle region.

Position Details:

• Full-time position
• Primary focus on outpatient clinic and inpatient orthopedic care, primarily supporting a total joint arthroplasty practice, with operating room responsibilities introduced gradually over time
• Opportunity to transition into surgical first assist responsibilities as the practice and team needs evolve
• Manage orthopedic patients across the continuum of care, including pre-operative, post-operative, and follow-up visits
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams
• Opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions and procedures

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation is between $150,001 and $200,340 per year
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may vary based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach to patient care
• New graduates with significant orthopedic rotations are encouraged to apply; orthopedic experience preferred
