Experienced Behavioral Health Clinician

Impireum Psychiatric Group

Position Overview

Impireum Psychiatric Group is seeking an experienced, high-performing Physician Assistant (PA-C) with established psychiatric and behavioral health experience to join our growing multi-state behavioral health organization.

This role is specifically designed for clinicians with prior psychiatry experience who are seeking to practice within a physician-led, structured, outcomes-driven psychiatric model focused on quality, operational excellence, accountability, and measurable patient outcomes.

This is not an entry-level psychiatry position.

We are only considering candidates with direct psychiatric clinical experience in behavioral health settings.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, operationally disciplined, emotionally mature, and comfortable functioning within a high-accountability psychiatric environment.

About Impireum

Impireum Psychiatric Group is a multi-state integrated behavioral health organization focused on:

  • psychiatry,
  • psychotherapy,
  • advanced psychiatric treatment modalities,
  • and Neuro-Wellness integration.

Our care model combines:

  • physician-led oversight,

  • Assess and manage psychiatric safety risks, including suicidal ideation and crisis escalation
  • Develop evidence-based psychiatric treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, psychiatrists, and clinical support teams
  • Participate in integrated treatment planning and continuity-of-care workflows

Operational & Documentation Responsibilities

  • Maintain timely and audit-ready psychiatric documentation
  • Complete same-day documentation in accordance with organizational standards
  • Follow established psychiatric workflows and SOPs
  • Participate in KPI and quality initiatives
  • Support continuity-of-care and patient retention efforts
  • Participate in hybrid care delivery models including telehealth and in-person psychiatry

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Required Qualifications

  • Active unrestricted Physician Assistant license

  • Active DEA registration
  • Minimum of 2 years recent outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
  • Direct psychiatric medication management experience REQUIRED

Competitive psychiatry PA candidates typically demonstrate experience in:

Preferred candidates should also have experience managing:

  • depression,
  • anxiety disorders,
  • ADHD,

  • and high-acuity psychiatric populations.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with child/adolescent psychiatry
  • Telepsychiatry experience
  • Experience within structured psychiatric workflow environments
  • Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Experience with Spravato, TMS, or advanced psychiatric treatment programs preferred
  • Experience functioning within KPI-driven or outcomes-based environments preferred

IMPORTANT APPLICANT NOTICE
